Field Insights Issue 25: Nu-Trax P+ and Boron DDP Increase Canola Yields in Western Canada_Ag In Motion 2016

A side-by-side field demonstration was conducted at the 2016 Ag in Motion Event in Saskatoon, SK to evaluate the benefits of Nu-Trax P+ as part of an early-season fertilizer program for canola production. Wolf Trax Boron DDP® was also included in the program. Under the conditions of this study, Nu-Trax P+ and Boron DDP resulted in a yield increase of 2 bu/ac over the control.

Field Insights Issue 24: Nu-Trax P+ Increases Wheat Yields in Western Canada_Ag In Motion 2016

A side-by-side field demonstration was conducted at the 2016 Ag in Motion Event in Saskatoon, SK to evaluate the benefits of Nu-Trax P+ as part of an early-season fertilizer program for wheat production. Under the conditions of this study, Nu-Trax P+ increased early-season biomass production and provided a considerable yield increase of 8.1 bu/ac over the control.

Field Insights Issue 17: Zinc DDP Increases Barley Yields in Western Australia

In 2015, a replicated field study was conducted in Western Australia to evaluate the performance of Wolf Trax Zinc DDP as compared to other micronutrient strategies. Under the conditions of this study, Zinc DDP applied at 0.80 kg/ha resulted in yields that were significantly greater than the control, zinc fertiliser applied as a seed treatment, or fluid zinc applications of 0.18 kg/ha. All other treatments were comparable.

Field Insights Issue 23: Wolf Trax DDPs Improve Corn Yields in Minnesota

In 2015, a replicated field study was conducted in Minnesota to evaluate the performance of Nu-Trax P+ and Wolf Trax Zinc DDP and Boron DDP as part of an early season fertilizer program for corn production. Under the conditions of this study, all products significantly enhanced early season growth and nutrient status of the plant, which ultimately resulted in yield benefits.

In 2015, a field study was conducted in Wisconsin to evaluate the performance of Wolf Trax Boron DDP in alfalfa production. Under the conditions of this study, relative feed value (RFV) increased considerably with increasing application of Boron DDP.

Field Insights Issue 21: Wolf Trax Manganese DDP Increases Barley Yields in England

In 2014, a field study was conducted in England to evaluate the performance of Wolf Trax Mn DDP as a fertilizer coating and foliar fertilizer in barley production. The results of this study showed that the combination of Mn DDP applied to granular fertilizer significantly increased yields when followed up with a foliar manganese product.

Field Insights Issue 20: Nu-Trax P+ Improves Early Season Growth in Wheat in Turkey

In 2014, a laboratory study was conducted at Sabanci University in Turkey to evaluate the performance of Nu-Trax P+ under cool growing conditions and two levels of phosphorus fertility. Regardless of phosphorus fertility, an application of Nu-Trax P+ to starter fertilizer enhanced early plant nutrition as demonstrated by significantly greater plant height under cold conditions.

Field Insights Issue 18: Nu-Trax P+ Increases Corn Yields in Indiana

In 2013, a side-by-side trial was conducted in Gibson County, Indiana, to evaluate the performance of Nu-Trax P+ as part of an early season fertilizer program for corn production. In this study, the addition of Nu-Trax P+ increased yields as compared to the control treatment and the highest yield was attained when Nu-Trax P+ was included in a regimen that also included an insecticide.

Field Insights Issue 16: Zinc DDP Increases Uptake in Wheat in S. Australia

A field study was conducted in 2015 near Redbanks, South Australia to evaluate the performance of Wolf Trax Zinc DDP as part of an early-season nutrition program for wheat. Granular zinc products were also applied for comparison purposes. Despite below average precipitation throughout the course of this study, Zinc DDP applied at 0.75 kg/ha significantly increased zinc content in tissue samples as compared to all other treatments.
