DDP® Micronutrients

DDP as a Foliar Application - Wolf Trax DDP Micronutrients, formulated with the patented Dual Action Availability, offer you flexibility in spray timing and lower storage and handling costs.

Dual Action Availability. The unique Dual Action™ formulation combines the immediate availability of sequestered products with the extended availability of suspension products. Only Wolf Trax micronutrients provide immediate plant uptake (within 48 hours) together with continuous feeding over time. When Wolf Trax micronutrients are applied as a foliar with a pesticide or liquid fertilizer, the micronutrients are plant available within 48 hours and remain available for up to 28 days after application.

These photos, taken in Indiana 3 days after micronutrient application, show the immediate availability of Wolf Trax DDP micronutrients in foliar applied treatments. On the left, an untreated check strip in the field suffering from severe manganese deficiency. On the right, Wolf Trax Manganese DDP applied to soybeans at the recommended rate.

With Wolf Trax micronutrients in foliar applications you can time pesticide applications when it’s most suitable to control pests without losing the effectiveness of the micronutrients.

Superior application. Wolf Trax DDP is formulated to disperse almost instantly in water. When added to a spray tank, the micronutrient disperses evenly throughout the solution, and remains that way. You can be assured that the last plant sprayed receives the same level of micronutrients as the first plant. More importantly, the micronutrient will not clog up application equipment. The crop gets exactly what it needs, when it needs it.

Flexibility. Wolf Trax micronutrients let you spray what you want, when you want. The Wolf Trax DDP manufacturing process uses formulation techniques similar to those used to produce agrochemicals, making Wolf Trax micronutrients compatible with most pesticides. This allows you to take advantage of one-pass application efficiency, while Wolf Trax Dual Action provides timing flexibility.

Lower storage costs. Because Wolf Trax products are high analysis powders, there’s less product volume and handling required. For example: one pallet of Wolf Trax Zinc DDP will treat as many acres as seven pallets of typical foliar products (9% liquid chelated zinc). This means much less storage space is required, and there is far less handling, mixing and lifting.

Safe for horticultural crops. The need for micronutrients in horticultural crops is high and availability at specific times of growth is critical. Wolf Trax DDP formulation ensures that the micronutrients can be accessed by the plant when needed without harming the plant.

On the left, Wolf Trax Manganese DDP was applied at 2-times the recommended application rate at +100-degree temperatures with no injury to lemon leaves. On the right, Wolf Trax Iron DDP was applied under the same conditions.
